In today’s music industry, artists relentlessly struggle to discover their sound, while simultaneously having to market, brand and promote themselves. As coaches, managers, and industry professionals, we’ve watched incredible artists try to balance everything in an increasingly disconnected and isolated world. This is why I created Compass.

If you’re reading this, chances are, yes! These are the basics of what it takes:
• You are a successful creative or Entrepreneur in the entertainment industry
• You want to help upcoming and thriving artists and entrepreneurs
• You like the idea of facilitating intimate off-the-record deep dives with creatives
• You can commit to a 1 hour training, and 6 weekly meetings (60 minutes)

You’re the host who’s been through it and have some stories. You’re a resource, a guide, someone to share experiences and insights.
Guiding means helping artists have a more meaningful experience— things like giving feedback and insights to questions based on the course workbook, their experiences. You’re open to sharing your life lessons + saving.
What’s the easiest way to mentor and guide, listen, ask follow-up questions, and maybe but not necessarily, share a possible solution. We don’t have all the answers.
Mentorship is “buffet style”… there is no curriculum and no prescriptive structure. We will provide a number of guided options for how to hold your 1-hour session, and its music and entertainment - it’ll always be its own thing.

Wendy has been coaching and guiding recording artists for 20+ years and everything she’s done 1:1 she has put into an incredibly comprehensive course to lead the artist into pools of their own inspiration and resources.
It’s highly structured and consciously designed with room for personal inspiration. Each week is filled with rabbit holes to dive into + opportunities for think tanks and reflection from peers. By the end of these 6 weeks, there will be pages of notes, endless inspirations and so many questions the artists will be pondering and taking back to their teams to put their ideas into action, whether that’s in their next song, photoshoot, music video, or beyond. This isn’t just expert-led, or peer-to-peer — it’s the best of both! We also specifically pair recording artists with mentors that resonate with each other, so each party gets as much out of the relationship and experience as they can.
This isn’t just a bunch of zoom meet-ups — it’s years of experience, insights and processes, a fat workbook of information and prompts, all informed by 4 cycles already completed by artists who are now using it to make their first single (Viral TikTok artist, signed to a label who’s 2-hour onboarding meeting with his new major management team was a success because he had answers to ALL their questions because he took the course!) or Latin Sony artist who’s now recording her 5th record with a new sound - all informed by the course.
I can’t promise, but 2 artists from a previous cycle got married!
